What more do we need to do in order for Telltale Games do speak on the save bug for Game of Thrones? Since it's release, Game of Thrones has been plagued with a save bug on Xbox One. Numerous players'choices aren't showing up from episode 1 to episode 2. Countless others, including ourselves, cant finish episode 2 as we receive a nearly all blacked out screen after the episode 3 preview. These issues have lambasted the Telltale support forums for a week now and players have yet to hear a response.
Mods and Telltale employees are assisting with minor issues while ignoring the elephant in the room, and that is that Game of Thrones is broken. This bug is not allowing players to complete the episode as the credits don't roll and the screen portrayin your choice % does not appear. Of course, this means that you will not be able to complete any further episodes until this is fixed. The standard fix of uninstall, power cycle, reinstall, play doesn't work either.
This is just one Xbox One bug. Multiple reports of the episode not being playable on certain mobile devices like Mac and Kindle as well as Ios also isn't being addressed. Telltale earned a lot of trust with previous franchises like The Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us. It's time they showed us a little trust in return and address this issue. Those that purchased the season pass are without four episodes until it's resolved. Of course if it's fixed before episode then maybe it's not an issue, but should we have to wait a month to play a game we already own. And it's a good game. Ball is in your court, Telltale. Don't wiff.
