Although it may not be a possibility for Advanced Warfare, Sledgehammer Games founder Michael Condrey stated in an interview with MMGN that they would like to add single player dlc in the future to their games. He stated that
"We’ve wanted the opportunity to tell more backstory, or fill in some of the side story, ever since Modern Warfare 3. There is always things you leave on the editing room floor, and that’s true of Advanced Warfare too. I’m not sure we’ll have the opportunity, but as the creative drivers we do have the interest,"
We are big fans of single player dlc. If you remember our interview with Visceral Games Steve Papoutsis on Battlefield Hardline, we spoke about the possibility of adding campaign dlc to this installment of the franchise as well. Campaigns have been weak as of late in the Call of Duty series, with Ghosts being especially bad. It's definitely something that would benefit the franchise and adds to the overall experience of the game for everyone. Hopefully, we'll get it sooner than later.
