Neverwinter: Underdark coming to Xbox One on February 9th

Perfect World and Cryptic Studios has announced that the latest expansion for Neverwinter, the Underdark, will finally be headed to Xbox One on February 9th. After initially launching on PC late last year, it missed the end of the year cut with Strongholds being the final expansion landing on console. Now the 8th expansion coming to Neverwinter in only 10 months since launch, players will get the ability to play the story line of classic author R.A. Salvatore and Drizz't Do'Urden.

In the expansion, players will play along the story line written by Salvatore himself and experience features such as a 10 player battle against the Demogorgon, the two headed giant demon prince seen above. Neverwinter is free to play on Xbox One and, after launching last March on console, has become the largest MMORPG on Xbox One with approximately two million users.

Almost weekly content updates ranging from timed events to double upgrade points, Neverwinter has been constantly supporting its players with new content. The most recent expansion, Stronghold, is the game's largest map and nearly four times the size of any other map in the game. Players must complete missions to upgrade their stronghold and its custom design. Once it's ready, take it online in a huge PvP battle with other guilds and let the catapults fly.

The Neverwinter: Underdark expansion is available now on PC and as noted, will hit Xbox One on February 9th. It is free to play with an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
