Fenix Rage rebranded as Fenix Furia for Xbox One and PS4 release

Fenix Rage is being rebranded for a re-release on both PS4 and Xbox One later this year. Titled Fenix Furia, the game will feature a new playable character, new levels as well as split screen two player mode.

“It’s very exciting that the journey to bring our game to consoles will be finally happening soon,” said Eduardo Ramirez, lead developer and Co-founder of Green Lava Studios. “While we’ve had to overcome a couple of obstacles, we want to thank all gamers for their patience.  We’ve added some great new modes and definitely incorporated player feedback on level difficulty to make Fenix Furia a fantastic platform game.”

Fenix Furia features retuned game levels based on direct feedback from the original PC game that balances some of the drastic difficulty of later levels.  In addition, an Easy Mode has been included to smoothly introduce new players to the addicting speed and platforming madness. Most of all, the new Two Player Mode pits gamers head-to-head in a frenzied split-screen race challenge to finish each level as quickly as possible between Fenix and the new Undead Fenix.

The intensity of Fenix Furia gets multiplied in the Two Player Mode as you step into the shoes of Fenix, a really sweet creature of speed and (blocky) cuteness…then feel his boundless rage. He is pissed! You would be too if your village was decimated by a huge explosion (and your game name was legally blocked!), leaving only two survivors: Fenix and the mysterious enemy Oktarus. Fenix will track down this shadowy villain through nine worlds, defeating righteously brutal bosses and hundreds of minions bent on his destruction, on a mission to return order and harmony back to his world.
