With the release for The Flame in the Flood coming up next week on Xbox One and PC, developer Molasses Flood has provided yet another trailer on how to survive along the game's river. 

The official description for the game reads as a rogue-lite river journey through the backwaters of a forgotten, post-societal America. Forage, craft, outwit predators and brave the rapids as you make your way down the procedurally generated river. It's a basic description but doesn't do the game justice until you see just how impressive the game looks.

The river changes each time you play to ensure no play through is ever the same. You'll need to avoid certain enemies as you go, and what makes it difficult is some of the things you do to avoid certain enemies simply end up attracting other enemies. It's a good blend of strategy that allows your protagonist and companion Aesop along the river. The trailer released today provides some hints on how to best gather supplies and food when the game launches next week.
