Incandescent Imaging and Dylan Browne have announced that their supernatural survival horror Caffeine will be releasing on October 6th for PC platforms with a console release to come later this year hopefully. In Caffeine, we play as a small child who awakes on board a ship in deep space. The ship is a mining hub for Caffeine after Earth has run through it's supply and citizens need to look to deep space in order to get their fix. It will run in 1080P as well as have VR support and in our interview with Mr. Browne, he indicated that with DX12 optimization he was able to receive a 20% increase in performance over DX11.
Caffeine is being released over multiple episodes on PC but the console release may have all included in one according to Mr. Browne, but it is dependent upon the development cycle. Cafffeine is shaping up to be an energy inducing (yeah, I get the pun) experience and we look forward to its release. Check out the teaser trailer below.
