Street Fighter V new character reveal - Rashid - franchise's first Arab fighter

Live in Dubai at the Dubai Games 2015, Street Fighter V and Capcom Producer Yoshinori Ono announced the newest addition to the game's character roster. A fighter named Rashid, he becomes the franchise's first Arab fighter.

The announcement was recorded via Periscope and has off screen footage thanks to Youtube . As you can tell, he features a number of wind attacks like tornado projectiles and a super move in which a tornado takes up the screen and sucks up your enemy. The attacks are reminiscent of Dhalsim and his attacks as well as the old school Great Tiger spin punch from Mike Tyson's Punch Out!. You can see some of the footage above and we'll update you once the official screen shots become available.
