I mean, really. Come on. More DLC? I feel like Jim Mora back in the day with the Indianapolis Colts going "Playoffs! Playoffs!" just screaming "DLC!". Batman Arkham Knight is one of if not the most anticipated game of the year prior to its launch next month on June 23rd. What does developer Rocksteady do? Nail us dry balls deep with dlc. Seriously. Personally, I can't wait for this game much like most of you and plan on picking it up day 1. Pre-order though? No f'n way.

Did Rocksteady and turn into EA or something?. Yes, Warner Bros is behind it as well blah blah. This wasn't the case with Arkham Asylum or City though. There was a couple pre order nonsense but not like Arkham Knight no no. This game takes it to a whole new level with this crap. "Mike, what are you talking about?" I'm glad you asked fine reader, let me tell you. Batman Arkham Knight has so many freaking pre order bonuses it sickening. Like projectile vomit sickening. Reason is this isn't dlc a few months down the line, no no. It's announced BEFORE the game even F'n comes out. So it will ready at launch. Which means it will be done and finished. So, rather than developing ambitious new ideas like ACTUALLY GIVING US THE CONTENT THAT'S ALREADY FINISHED IN THE ACTUAL FULL PRICE OF THE FUCKING GAME we'll just dick you along because we know you're going to buy the game anyway. 

First you have the Harley Quinn dlc which you can't get unless you pre order. Then there is the Red Hood dlc that you can't get unless you pre order. Then there is the $40 Season Pass that features skins and challenge maps that won't be available unless you pay the $40. Here's a kicker too. Even if you pre order you're not guaranteed them unless you get them at a specific store. Gamestop has the Redhood DLC, Wal-mart has the light steel color Batmobile, other retailers have specific Batmobile skins. Best Buy has the Wayne Tech Booster Pack giving you skill upgrades like Explosive Gel Takedown and now just announced is the Batman Beyond and Dark Knight Returns Batman skins. So let's run this down for those not keeping track. The current tally of things that will be fully ready to go and developed at launch for this game include 2 playable characters, a custom Batmobile, 2 Batman skins, 4 Batman upgrades, Batmobile skins PLUS season pass content like MORE Batmobile skins, challenge maps and Batman skins. FUCK. OFF.

Again, it's not like this is a few months down the line. Not even mad about the story content because I can see that takes time to make (if it's not done already). But seriously, come the hell on already. When are we going to stop letting these companies nail us dry with the pre order nonsense? It makes no sense. It's all finished already but no, that's ok Warner and Rocksteady, take more of our money. Really. It's cool. We don't mind. Guess we should have expected this fuck job when you told us your solution to fixing the broken Arkham Origins was to actually not fix it and just have us pay for MORE DLC THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BROKEN FREAKING GAME!!

Yeah, I know. "Mike calm down it's just a game" blah blah. How much are we gamers supposed to take fellas and ladies, huh? When is enough enough with this nonsense?

And yes, I'll still buy the game but in no way am I shelling out one cent for dlc. Nope. Not happening.
