The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game has fallen a bit under the radar due to LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, but a new trailer was released today showing off how we'll train in its dojo.
There will be eight large, action-packed, open locations based on the movie story, as well as iconic locations and characters from the LEGO Ninjago TV series. Each location includes a host of hidden secrets to collect, as well as its own unique Challenge Dojo where players can put their combat skills to the test, earning high scores and battling with increasingly tougher enemies.
There is still no word on the actual story mode of the game, and it appears that there isn't one in this game. Even the LEGO Movie Video Game had a story mode mimicking the movie, but it doesn't appear that Ninjago does. We've reached out to LEGO for clarification and will let you know.
The game will launch on October 6th, 2017, exactly one week before the film release on the 13th. This will give us time to complete the game and get ready for Marvel Super Heroes 2 in November. Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know what you think.
