Stranger Things creators the Duffer brothers stumbled onto a gold mine when their first season launched last year. With the second season due to launch this October on Netflix, fans have been wondering "Just how long can it last?" Well, Matt and Ross Duffer addressed the topic in a recent interview.
Speaking with Vulture, Ross stated that:
We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out. We just have to keep adjusting the story. Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year. They’re going to have to get the f*%k out of this town!"
Four seasons may sound a bit long, and you wouldn't be wrong. After all, how much can really happen to a little podunk town in Indiana before every matter of scientist and government agent descent upon it? That's one of the issues the Duffer brothers realizes, as he notes in his remark.
Season two will take place exactly one year after the events of season one, and there are still a lot of questions which need to be answered. We put together a bunch of them here. Everything ranging from how Eleven survived to whether or not her mom ever found out what really happened.
Stranger Things season two premieres this October on Netflix. Let us know what you think of the four year plan below.
